Craig Mann APM

Craig Mann is the founder and Director of Aurisec. His experience is grounded in more than 35 years of Australian law enforcement operations across complex, intelligence-led and high-consequence environments.

His expertise spans covert and intelligence-supported operations, specialist operational commands, serious and organised crime, critical infrastructure security and emergency management, operational training, and the development of national capabilities. He held senior operational leadership roles within the Australian Federal Police and was awarded the Australian Police Medal in 2025 for distinguished service to Australian policing.

Craig has extensive experience conducting national security operations involving protected environments and sophisticated security controls, including covert access, tactical planning and operations, intelligence, human sources and insider-enabled access.

Craig brings experience in trusted insider threat, personnel security and legitimate-access risk within national security environments, informing Aurisec's assessment of insider-enabled pathways to compromise.

These perspectives shape how Craig leads Aurisec. Security is examined from the adversary's position, with a focus on how a capable actor could observe, learn, gain or exploit access, overcome protective controls and combine vulnerabilities into a credible pathway to compromise.
